Car parking charges at railway stations is ridiculous, at Lancaster it is £5.00 to park even if you are only there half an hour. My ticket to Preston is only £4.25 return with my Senior Card. So to park the car cost`s more than the ticket itself, it`s just another way of ripping off the traveller.
