Consult call over parking charges (BBC News)

An MSP wants rail users consulted before parking charges are introduced at railway stations.

Car parking charges at railway stations is ridiculous, at Lancaster it is £5.00 to park even if you are only there half an hour. My ticket to Preston is only £4.25 return with my Senior Card. So to park the car cost`s more than the ticket itself, it`s just another way of ripping off the traveller.
