Hi to you all
This is my first post so here goes Last Thursday I went on the THE SCARBOROUGH SPA EXPRESS Pulled by Black 5 Number 45407 she had 12 coaches on and was on time all the way. What a great work horse. Called at NRM York. Duchess of Hamilton looks absolutely stunning in her new streamline outfit. Thought might see Mallard but she was not there can anyone tell me were she is? Thanks |

Hello 20D and welcome to the forum. Mallard was moved about a month ago to the Shildon part of the NRM, and was hauled there by 60163 TORNADO. MALLARD will return to York eventually when the forthcoming re-organisation of the NRM has been completed.

Expect you can see G6 UXU and DSY011a bit of a novice with computers.
THE SCARBOROUGH SPA EXPRESS is being advertised with GWR Hall Class 4-6-0 no 5972 Olton Hall (as Hogwarts Castle). On Thursday she was inside the museum being cleaned. Was different to see 5-6 people with buckets detergents and cleaning aparatus all clad in white overalls and masks. A long way from parafin waste rags |

Mallard is at Shildon to make room at York for the big reorganisation, in preparation for re-branding as NRM-PLUS. A link here to a page about Mallard http://www.nrm.org.uk/NRM/PlanaVisit...ture/main.aspx Be aware that some of the text is a bit out of date, but the video's ok.
