Hello all
I'd like to introduce myself to the forum members. I found this site purely by chance and felt I had to join for the wide range of subjects under discussion.
Contrary to the seemingly obvious, I am of the male gender, my user name reflecting a formative experience in my early youth when I experienced the eponymous A1 thundering down into platform 1 at Darlington sometime in the late 50's. By the way, does anyone know of a nice picture of her? She has been very camera shy! |

Welcome to the site madgewildfire1948. Do you have a shorter name we could use as madgewildfire1948 is a bit heavy to type for a one finger typist like me. Hope you enjoy the site and post often.

Welcome to the group and, yes, Madge Wildfire was a camera-shy engine.
A few Darlington shots in my web gallery here: http://gallery62603.fotopic.net/sear...darlington&t=p Mike M. |
