On the subject of travel on Saturday, you are unable to get any seat reservations with Virgin West Coast, is this because of the travellers going down to London, then forward to France for the Rugby WC Final? So Virgin have decided not to have seat reservations on that day? If the strike action stops services on Saturday this won;t be good publicity for Eurostar.
