Greetings from New Brunswick ,Canada. I spent around 20 years in the U.K. Merchant Navy, leaving as Master in the early 80's. Joined B.R. Southern Region as Train Crew and then to Eurostar U.K. Ltd as Rules Compliance and Incident Officer. Then back to Southern as Station Supervisor at Lewes took early retirement in 2005 and returned to Canada. Not much of interest here, one train a day, Halifax to Montreal and one in the opposite direction except on Tuesday evening and Wednesday Morning when nothing runs !!!!! All ex U.K. Eurostar night stock but of course loco hauled, maybe around two freights a day normally with lumber for the Paper Mills or as a diversionary route. Nice to be on the footplate !!!!!!
