Train link to London is approved (BBC News)

The rail regulator approves a new direct train service linking London and Wrexham, which is expected to start next year.

Looks like an interesting route and should help North Wales.

Perhaps it might help the cause of the Langollen Railway extending back to Ruabon to link up with the service. The Welsh Parliament could support it.

It looks a great service from the proposed route and stock (I like the fact that class 67 hauled stock will be used).
