CCTV 'shows derailed Chicago train'
Footage posted on YouTube appears to show CCTV video of the moment a metro train has derailed at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport in the US.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-26757629 Early on Monday the train came off the tracks, crossed a platform and travelled part way up an escalator, with no reported serious injuries.

Absolutely. The Chicago train was really motoring, so it's very surprising that no one was killed.
Maybe it's due to the improvement in vehicle technology, but my mind always goes back to the Canon St collision where a slam door train hit the stops. It was only doing a few Mph but there were fatalities and numerous serious injuries. This was due in part to the crappy couplings which allowed coaches to ride up over each other.
