Keswick Railway Dissertation Help
Hi everyone, my name is Janette Hodgson. I'm currently doing my dissertation at Lancaster University studying the Cockermouth-Keswick-Penrith Railway, which closed in 1972 but which the CKP plc group are wishing to reopen. I wondered if anyone who has ever visited Keswick (in Cumbria) or lived in Keswick could complete one of these two questionnaires - they're about the proposed railway. Your help would really be appreciated. All responses will be anonymous, however if someone would also like to be involved in an interview about this railway, that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.
For people who have visited Keswick, could you fill in this questionnaire: http://freeonlinesurveys.com/s.asp?s...vgpr2usw112044 And for people who live in Keswick, could you fill in this questionnaire: http://freeonlinesurveys.com/s.asp?s...alzptsfi112099 |

Hello JanetteHodgson and welcome to the Railway Forum. Sorry I am unable to answer your questions as I have only been to Keswick once and that was in 1973. As I was on honeymoon, I was not thinking about trains.

Hi Syd. You could still fill in the visitor one as I'm looking at the future use of the railway too

Well i've spent a fair bit of my time up there over the years, so I've done the survey.
It would be great to have that line back.
