Hello everyone, from Hornsea East Yorkshire
Hi everyone, from Hornsea. Had a lifelong interest in railways and when I found this forum I just had to join. So looking forward to contributing in the future. I spent a number of years in the mid 90's as a volunteer on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. So was able to be involved with steam and Diesel first hand. Now though I have to be satisfied with drawing locomotives and trams in graphite pencil. I completed a drawing of a vintage Sheffield tram in 2012. My latest project is a pencil drawing of the A4 pacific 'Sir Nigel Gresley' which is only about a third complete. Because of my interest in vintage trams I took a job for 9 years on Sheffield's modern tram system. But now retired and living in the seaside town of Hornsea East Yorkshire, sadly whose railway branch line became a victim of Beechings cuts in the mid 60's.

Hello Yogiadobe and welcome to the Railway Forum. You, like many on this site were lucky to have seen BR as it was when steam was still active on the main line. British steam was the best in the world to many of us overseas fans.
