Hello again
Haven`t been round for a while so i thought i`d pop back and say hi, while im on i need some help.
Attached is a photo of the old line into Langwith Junction Station (on the bridge) the line below is curently The Robin Hood line. The siding i think goes to either to Davis`s wagon works or Langwith Junction engine shed i cant remember My geography is all wrong ,looking at the bridge is LJ Station down to the right or up to the left beyond the signal gantry Cheers Tony |

This looks like the view south towards Shirebrook.
The line coming in from the left is the old Warsop Cottage Farm branch to Warsop Main Colliery and went through Lord Stubbins Wood. The line over the top looks like the Scarcliffe tunnel branch to Duckmanton. I think Langwith Junction station is on the right upper line beyond where the signal gantry is located. Hi Tony, according to my land ranger 1950 map the line went to Welbeck Colliery not Warsop Main.
I will post a picture to show the original layout. |
