South Yorkshire landslip rail line closed for weeks
Train services between Doncaster, Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes will be suspended for at least eight weeks after a landslip, Network Rail said.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...shire-21441070 A Network Rail spokeswoman said the track could not be repaired until the spoil heap was stabilised.

No great problem for them as they can divert and in general would not be too affected by this slip anyway as they tend to be on the Wakefield - Goole line.
However the services to and from Immingham via Scunthorpe will have to divert via Gainsborough. As for the passenger services, well its on the bus. Just wonder if the Trans pennine or Northern Units to the East of the slip have any servicing facilities or will there have to be some ECS workings via Gainsborough to fuel and empty tanks? |

Of Course Big Business hasn't remembered it didn't happen TO THEM in fact one of the TV broadcasts about this landslip showed that they were actually putting MORE spoil on top of the heap immediately above it in clear view of the cameras
