Hi Prm57, When was this taken?
Great to have the ability to turn an engine on the GCR, what a difference to see locos running from Leicester North smokebox first!!

Hi Phil The video was taken on Sunday 20/11/11. it was good to see and opens up all sorts of possibilities. prm57

Yes I was there on the Saturday but they did not have an engine to turn due to the failure of the GWR Pitchford Hall, Sir Lamiel and the standard 2 did not run either. Only the 8F (on driver experience) and the Jinty to hold the fort. The DMU took off the pressure too with extra runs! So we did not get to see it turning this time.
