Trouble in the tunnel
Just found this in my inbox from RAIB.
http://www.raib.gov.uk/publications/...ernational.cfm Can we discuss how this can happen, I would have thought the doors if open would not allow the brakes to come off. Seems to me the Guard has not gone round the train prior to departure from the tunnel. Was a brake test carried out ? |

As a former swt employee, I was always unimpressed by the commitment of some of our collegues, and their attentiveness to duty.............

Can we not discuss how this might have happened and wait for the official investigation to give a full and frank explanation. Speculation is never a good thing!

Hear, hear Nigel. The matter is under investigation. Please can we wait for the findings.
Best wishes, John H-T.
