I have now been told, that the "low ticket" "thing" was a load of rubbish.
Over 4000 tickets were sold for the weekend and with just under a month to go I feel sure there would have been even more.

The "plug was pulled" "out of the blue" on thursday of last week and even the local weekly newspaper was planning to do a 2 page spread on the forthcoming event in this weeks edition.

I think this will come back to haunt Railcare. It is causing a lot of anger and upset.

The trouble is I don't think Railcare are bothered, otherwise they would have pulled the plug in the first place.

I have now read the article in Railway Magazine about the relocation of the workswhich is mainly factual. They do take the slant that this would have been the last opportunity to see the old works. Perhaps this is what has upset Railcare.
