Personally i hope the Unions tell Network Rail an the Government no matter what they say they're going to STRIKE anyhow. Let them have it the companys think they can do what ever they like in this fine country of ours, it's about time the common man stood up for his rights. Its time to tell big firms enough is enough would anyone on this forum want to travel on a railway system that does'nt have enough staff to maintain it to the propper standards i think not, well thats exactly what Network Rail want to do all i can say is i'm glad i don't work for them now an i'm back contracting on the railways but i fully agree with the strike cause i still have loads of ex collegues under threat of loosing there jobs.

As I've said on a different thread this is all about a "private" company making a profit for the shareholders & if a "few" jobs go what do they care.
