A visitor from the Continent waving hello with a link to a few Tornado pics :)
Hi there,
I live in the Netherlands. After spending this year's summer holidays in the UK (Wainwright Coast2Coast, then NYMR and a few days in London) I've decided to register here. On my second last day in London I was lucky to see the Winton Train arrive at Liverpool Station. I posted a little story about it on a German rail enthousiats' forum: http://www.drehscheibe-foren.de/fore...hp?108,4433238 If you're interested I could provide it with some explanations in English and try and post it here. Just give me a little time to find out how I'm going to do that ;-) My preference is clearly steam locos, although I'm a regular user of contemporary railways as well. Hope to see you around every once in a while, see if I can pick up and share some information, pictures etc. Cheers, Norbert |

Hi Norbert, welcome to the forum, enjoy.
Ihave not done the coast to coast but watched a programme on it, interesting. I have done the NYMR though and that is brilliant. The pictures you have taken are very good, the statue and the children make you aware of what went on. Thank you Alan |

Hello Norbert welcome to the Railway Forum. I don't speak German but the photos are good. As Alan said the statue of the children make you aware of what went on.
