Bumper Summer season for North Wales Heritage railways

This story backs up my own experience last week where some trains were very busy indeed and the Ffestiniog was jam packed and I only just got a seat. Apparently some are reporting a 50% increase in usage

My recent visit to Wales also bears this out. I hope the Talyllyn is also doing well since deciding to make their General Manager redundent. I understand that he has since joined the Board. If any railway knows how to ride the ups and downs it should be the Talyllyn.

Best wishes,

John H-T.
