Just a brief introduction.......and I bet you cannot guess where I am from!!
My interests are railways in general but I am particulrly fond of British Railways in the 60s and 70s (my formative years). I have a strong nostalgia streak and I love hunting down old railway buildings...you know the sort...railway long gone but the building remains. I hope to have many hours enjoyment from this site. I hope that I can contribute as well as learn from others. |

Hi Holbeach and welcome to the forum. I'm sure we can find a few old railway buildings for you to explore. Some photos with a bit about the sites would be welcome.

Hi Holbeach,
Welcome to the forum. A man after my own heart. I just love old buildings and structures on railways. I like to admire the workmanship and the sheer scale of some of the structures. Paul. |

Hello Holbeach and welcome from me too. How about a photo of the bridge that crosses the old M&GNJR on the A1101 at Long Sutton then? Any chance of one do you reckon?
