Yup! I'm just trying to square this in my mind with the rail tracks that I see in Europe with NO fencing! Walkways and cycle tracks alongside, I've even seen pedestrian crossings in Germany laid with sleepers across tracks from a Council estate to the Town Centre! ......and no-one is daft enough to get killed!
Me-thinks that perhaps the average British psyche just isn't up to the challenge........
