Hi everyone

Spotted the forum today and thought it might be good to join. I have recently retired and moved to South Lincs within sight of the ECML where Mallard broke the speed record back in 1938. My main interest is railway photography but I have never managed to kick the bug about keeping a record of the locos I have seen. Is this a good place to ask which locos were on certain trains or if not does anybody know of a suitable site for aging train spotters in the Peterborough area?

Hello & welcome to the forum. The website you need to check is http://www.uksteam.info. This site lists all the mainline steam tours across the country, with locos & timings.
If you're in the Peterborough area, the Nene Valley Railway is worth a look too.
