Nice scenery too, I once did the Tranzalpine Express trip from Christchurch to the West Coast and return, one of the best rail trips I have done anywhere in the world.

I bet they could make a fortune charging for rides when their shifting snow!, I`d give my back teeth to have been on that footplate Good job its not in the UK though!......wrong type of snow

It does happen in the Uk its just that we get the wrong type of snow.
And not often enough for video types to catch it.

A great old film taken long before the Elf and Safety brigade began their march. Could you imagine how long a safety case report would take to do the same job? The snow would have melted before it was finished!
