I just found this website by accident and thought i would join.

Ive been taking train photo`s since I was a kid ... and im 52 now.

I started a fotopic site a few months ago and it ssems to be expanding fast

check out www.john-robinson.fotopic.net and lets have some comments please.

latest pictures are from svr autumn gala on saturday

Welcome, mate. I am somewhat the same as you - a newbie. I am 10 years over you, but take other subjects outside the railway scene - in the welcome thread I started in here about a week ago - maybe - Hello from Canada above..

The 'John' Class is certainly becoming the 'Black 5's' of this forum.

As the only 'Trev', I see myself as the 'Hush-Hush' or HS4000 Kestrel. An experimental 'one of'.

Thxs - only went for the saturday due to family commitments - I have to agree about the light problems but its surprising what you can do on photoshop and a few plug-ins
