Dcc

hello everyone , as iam new to this hobby and still trying to get my head around it all can anyone please tell me is there anywhere on the net that can direct me to starting a new dcc setup from scratch.with a bachman
e-zcommand dynamis control. ie:- do i need a extrenal power supply etc etc.
hope to hear from some kind soul soon . many thanks

The following link has what I think is a reasonable guide to DCC.

Bachmann's Dynamis needs four AAA size batteries for the wireless handset, but the 'base station' should have its own power supply, and wires to connect to the track.

If this is not the controller you have then you may need to clarify further.
