new layout with DCC

hi all,
its nice to be back on the forum.
i am start a new layout and its going to be built for operations with DCC.
for my DCC system i am using hornby elite digital controller. The points are being controlled from the r8247 points decoder.
i would like to put some 2 aspect colour light signals on the layout, but i dont want to use the hornby ones (as they are over sized) i am wondering if the berko/eckon 12V DC signals can be used on the hornby 15V DC r8247 points decoder?

I'm not using DCC but the accessory doesn't seem to be a problem as long as the decoder talks to the controller
