Hello Canon 65,
Welcome to the forum. I am a couple of years older but well remember "bunking" round Edge Hill, Bank Hall, Aintree and Brunswick sometime around 1957, oh! happy days. I lived in Salford as a lad. I couldn't afford train fares but each summer my mum bought me a weekly runabout ticket on Ribble busses, to get me out of her hair I think. Myself and a pal covered every shed in the North West except Lostock Hall (I don't know why we missed that one!).
