Wrong way Pendo's.
Pendolino's heading for Euston normally have the first class at the front of the train, however a Pendo passed Stafford yesterday the other way round, with the first class at the rear.
Two questions, --- is this formation unusual, and just out of interest, if a Pendo requires turning, how do they do it?. |

Now there's a question BUT was it a 9 or 11 car set ??
the only way to turn one is on a Triangle so as for where I'm not familiar with the WCML so can't surmise

Fixed formations quite often get turned the wrong way round when engineering works are in place, a good example on the WCML is works between Preston and Carlisle when Pendo are dragged over the S&C . Virgin normally try to ensure that any turned this way are turned back a.s.a.p during the engineering works by taking them b oth up and down on the S&C.
Similar situatilons can arise with diversions in the Birmingham area. Davat. |
