Keith

Welcome to the Forum. I'm always interested in old stations and have often passed the site of Kilsby & Crick but of course it's now the site of major construction work. I did quite a bit of googling (as I'm sure you did) and looking around other sites I know but I don't think I've ever come up with quite such a blank! There is just no image of the original station anywhere I looked.

I'll watch this thread with interest because I'm sure one of the knowledgable members will point you towards something. My hunch is that they're must be something in the Northants county (or local village) archives but I'm blowed if I can find anything online!

Northampton loop line

Thanks for the replies.
i to have had many blank searching hours. as i live close to the old station site i can remember it as a youngster traveling to northampton from kilsby
but my memory is not so good now for the details,
there was allso a goods yard shed; coal drop. cattle pens; 5 railway cottages and station masters house which was demolished recently to make way for the new tesco rail yard. DIRFT. Daventry international rail freight terminal.. ( worth a look now its up and running)

any way i will keep looking for info Many thanks for your interest

Keith
