Ammerton Railway.

Hello from Ammerton railway nr Stafford, welcome back Paddy, Paddy is a vertical boilered 2foot gauge engine and has just been converted from a geared final drive to chain drive. she is now much quieter. The other two steam engines, Isobel and Jenny have been fully drained down until they steam again at Easter.
By the way at Ammerton, volunteers meet every Wednesday to cary out various maintenance duties, anyone who is interested can just turn up regardless of any skills you may have, there is always something to do.

We are situated on the A518 Uttoxeter - Stafford rd just north of Weston.
