Good evening all

Hi everyone,
I'm Michael, brought up on railway platforms throughout the UK in the 1980s trainspotting with my Dad.
Now I've grown up I still have a fond affection for the railways and in particular I enjoy seeing the Deltics and the 37's, 47's and 50's from my youth at the diesel festivals, in particular at the East Lancs Railway and my local Keighley and Worth Valley line.
Recently I have launched my own travel planning business and I'm hoping to be able to organise some really special trips across Europe for a fraction of the glossy brochure prices.

Welcome the forum and hope your business is successful. I was born in Bingley but moved to York at the end of the war. Used to visit Bradford to see relations and visit
loco depots. Now in the south west. Hope you enjoy participating.

Welcome, and best of luck with your business venture.
I have used rail travel companies in the past but i find them a little expensive these days, my other gripe is that they don't always provide evening meals, last time i travelled it was costing 25 to 30 euros each per night to eat out. this obviously increased the cost of the holiday.
