Diesel/Electric Railtour Information

This website: http://www.uksteam.info/tours/trs06.htm gives excellent info on steam railtours in the UK, including the timings which are most useful for anyone who doesn't have all day to wait around 'on spec!'

Does anyone know of a similar site giving lists and timings of modern-traction tours?

Kingfisher Railtours are doing a number of modern traction tours now including "The Whitby Jet" 29.4.2006 (2 x 37's) and "The Snowdonia Explorer" 15.4.2006. (37) see www.kingfisherrailtours.co.uk . I have already booked for the Whitby Jet.

Also worth a look: Railtourer Ltd of Hull, phone 01482 659082 for a brochure. I have travelled with them a number of times .......... good.

Green Express Railtours have added the latest tours to their website
www.greenexpressrailtours.co.uk

I like the new look of the website, some of the tours look quite good too.

Try www.ukrailtours.co.uk they seem to cover modern traction.

Yes, they've got good listings but it seems to be quite a new enterprise and they haven't got the timings sorted - yet...
