Obiviously 35022 Holland America Line.

But I would spend my second spare million Quid on recreating the LBSCR BalticTank 333 Rememberance (in Umber, of course)

Now there is a thought for a new build: a baltic tank. My choice would be the L&Y one!

60049 Galtee More was my favourite steam locomotive, mainly because as a 10 year old boy I stood at the side of it in Nottinhgam Victoria Station and I thought I was in paradise. I did'nt even know that engines came in green. The only ones I saw day in day out came in all shades of black.
My favourite diesels must be the Deltics and St Paddy in particular. I remember going to Doncaster and seeing her rotting away at the side of the works, sad really, I never thought I would feel like that about a diesel.
Isambard Kingdom Brunel was a favourite as well, something about the named 47's made them special. The 47's that Stratford did for the Silver Jubilee where great. I used to see one most days on the Harwich to Liverpool boat train when I lived at the side of the Erewash Valley line just north of Trowell Junction.
