new guy

hi all , my name is Paul , just registered today , looking forward to conversing with other train freaks (as my wife calls me ).
i work for Southwest Trains at Wimbledon Traincare Depot , loved trains since i was a kid , father work on p-way in the fifties , he loves steam , i growing up in the seventies love diesel and electric , spend my days off travelling around SouthWest network(free travel) standing on platforms and watching trains , Clapham and Reading being my favourite hang outs.

thanks guys , we have a big couple of years ahead here at wimbledon with the class 458's being configured for 5 coaches and the class 456's comming from Southern , at the depot there are major construction projects underway including a bogie drop being put in , will place updates on the forum as we go along.
