Holmbridge Junction

Hi, new on here so here goes for the first proper post.

This is my retirement efforts, my first go at building a model railway since I had a Princess Elizabeth set from Hornby in the late 1950s approx.

As its my first go it is all ready to go stuff or plastic and card kits but with NCE DCC control. Some sound in a few engines

Set in West Yorkshire with a little interloping by a couple of engines/units

Great layout. You've created some really lovely scenes.
I thoroughly enjoyed looking through your photos.
Why not pick out some of your favourite shots and post them in the forum gallery?

Really nice work and boy have you nailed the detail! I love it and hope when I retire fully in a couple of years I will be able to do something like this.
Great to see and I enjoyed viewing your photos. Thanks for sharing that with us
All the best
Phil

Some fantastic detail there. I particularly like the way you have done the ballasting with bits of weed and other vegetation. The GCR pattern station buildings look great too as do the little details with the platforms etc. You have given me some ideas to improve my layout!
