Good post, Are you going to do clayton West Branch.
That was my first guards duty on my own in 1982. .And seeing the branch shut later on.
Look over the wall thats where I live.
I have many pics of the Clayton West Branch Guard 437/At Huddersfield and Healey Mills

Theres a challenge mate! You never know. I imagine it would be great fun to get the detail absolutely correct.
If I ever do get to building one I would try to go for Lincoln Central and St Marks. I have seen a layout by a chap who has done one in 00 gauge, and its extremely good. I would try it in N gauge as I guess I would need a lot of space.
