New member from Northern Ontario

Hello all,

My name is Kevin, I am from Sudbury and currently completing an Engineering degree at the University of Ottawa. I am interested in pretty much any type of transport, as it is a very important part of every day life.

My very first train trip was when I was in 4th grade, on VIA Rail's Lake Superior using Budd RDCs. Our trip was very short, between Sudbury and Levack. Here is a short video of it passing through my hometown.

However, I like to consider my first real train trip to be from Ottawa to Montréal with VIA Rail, which used LRCs. Here is another video about it.

So thought I'd write my first post here, and show some videos from my Youtube channel which has anything to do with either planes, trains or buses.

Cheers!
Kevin

Nice to see someone from that area - I've got a particular interest in the Ontario Northland.

Yeah I've never taken Ontario Northland, but I'm interested in taking the Northlander to Cochrane sometime, and even reach James Bay on the Polar Bear Express!

Welcome to the forum - I am a few hours West of you in Calgary. Plenty of Canadians (or quasi-Canadians on the group). Everything that goes past you comes past me (the CP Alyth yard is at the end of the street).
