old st rollox fireman

hello i just joined the forum today.i found it through the
ships nostalgia site.i was a fireman sited with st rollox,in
glasgow for a number of years.i started on the steam engines,and was there when the " devil diesels ",took
over.i fired mostly to and from carlisle and up as far as
dundee,that was the end of the line in those days for a st rollox team.i,ve had to stop a few times for a( blow up )

information

anybody remember what we used to call st rollox railway
shed.i seem to remember it was called(65b),or have i been dreaming.i remember a pub,not far from the sheds,and i think we called it 65b.?????

Yes John. It was 65B throughout my spotting days in the 50's and 60's
