Hello all
Hello all,
I'm brand new to the site and liking what I see. My interest in trains started when I was about five or six, I think, but didn't come out fully till I was older. Part of my interest started with looking toward our Helena Yard, whenever we passed it, for this one little engine with a red dot that I have now figured to be a GP 9 as is the MRL 123. I also got a head start playing with the toy trains in the toy store and begging my parents for one, watching Thomas the Tank Engine , and claiming the the Montana Rail Link was my favorite railroad because it was the one my uncle worked for, which it was. Later I grew interested in photography, and decided to try my hand at photographing trains. I told this to my uncle when we had to do some photographing for a class and he said, "There you go." So I set out to take my pictures and to find the beauty of trains and why they were so special. Now I'm an all out railfan! And that's my story. Mariah Rich |
