Hi all!

Hi everyone. Did a shed-load of photography between 1980 & 1990 so hope to share some memories of the days when train doors actually slammed! Working for the railway I travelled all over the UK and covered most branchlines, pictures are scanned negatives as no digital camera's in those days & mainly B&W. Trying to put together a book/ticket/luggage label collection on a VERY limited budget so any tips on that would be great. Steve.

Thanks Phil

Thanks very much Phil. Quite a coincidence as I was thinking of using Silver Fox as a user name, being a fan of Gresley's 60017! Will post two or three photo's per day, or try to. Steve.

Welcome to the forum Steve, your shots from the eighties are certainly jogging the old memory bank.

Cheers John
