Does anyone jnow where I can get the gen on what loco hauled the 1656 Chengdu Nan to Pengshan on Sunday 9th May? I've scoured the internet and cannot find any site that will direct me to finding out which SS3 hauled my train! hopefully I will have time to take some snaps and the number of the train I will use from Chengdu to Chongqing on Thursday!

You might get lucky if you type in the search criteria in Mandarin Chinese? Get one of the locals there to help you. (I'm postulating that you are in China.)

Cheers, like I said it was a very long shot.....people out here can't see the logic in being interested in the railway!

Sometimes online translations can be a bit weird when you go English - Mandarin due to certain words not having an equivalent in Mandarin! Thank God my Financee speaks perfect English!

Aye there is a good Japanese site I frequent from time and time and I use Google to auto-translate and some of the translation is just plain weird!
