Unhappy Farewell to Midland Mainline.

As the Midland Mainline francise draws to an end, attached is a shot of a MML HST approaching Belper, Derbyshire to-day Friday 9.11.2007 heading north.

I will miss the Virgin and MML liveries in the Derwent and Amber Valleys, not to mention Central Trains on the Matlock Branch!

Yes MML has been a popular company - both with customers and employees.....which is almost unique on the railway nowadays. I do hope the new lot don't spoil it

I will miss MMs bar and those free cups of tea. I made sure to have one on the final MML journey on Saturday, but I hope Stagecoach keep this as it was a great idea.
