Sankey Valley / Fiddlers Ferry

Went for a walk by the river today, Saturday afternoon is definitely the time to visit. 60 010, 60 011 and 60 039 were all on merry go rounds, and 70 006 also showed up. All in the space of a couple of hours. A great place to see some powerful diesels, think I'll be back there soon.

I was at my usual haunt in Chesterfield and I too had far more freights than usual although all Sheds, Freds, Eurosheds and Dreds twice as many as on a weekday

LOL
Shed the original 59/66 EWS ones look like Sheds straight on
Euroshed is an European converted Shed (pretty obvious)

GBRf are AFAIK Euroshed as they are onwed by Eurotunnel

Yes 67's a Skips
92's are Skodas

If they are Scottish allocated you put a Mac in front so you get MacSkodas or MacSkips

I know what you mean by lack of diversity that's EWS's fault by buying American/Canadian instead of British

I mean if not why are they resurrecting the 60's

Here in the North-West Class 90's are "Skodas" and Class 92's are "Dysons"
