GWR railcar W20 appeal

An appeal for funding to complate the overhaul of GWR railcar W20 at the K&ESR has passed it's halfway mark.
Now one of only three surviving GWR railcars, W20 saw service in the early years of preservation at the K&ESR, but has been out of service since 1980. W20 has been under overhaul for 25 years, but a final push will now take place to have the railcar in service by the K&ESR's 50th anniversary in 2024.
