Weight of a class 43 passenger car (Mark 3)

I was wondering if some superstar could help me find out the weight of the passenger car for the class 43 HST. This information is for a Masters dissertation in civil engineering at Loughborough University and would be greatly appreciated.

Mk 3 buffet car = 36.12 t
Mk 3 1st class = 33.66 t
Mk 3 2nd class = 33.60 t
Mk 3 guard van = 33.47 t

John Hunt seems to have come up with the goods, but if you're still sceptical all rail vehicles have their weight written on them somewhere. I've seen EMT's HST end carriage plates above solebar level, so popping down to Loughborough station should reveal all.

what i would say is what 'flying pig' just said or a shorter way go to 'google' and search class 43 hst and then there should be a result saying 'wikipedia BR class 43 hst' and that should reaveal all,

Well firstly, thanks for all the kind welcomes!

And thankyou to John, those weights seem to make sense based on the other weights I have found and thats good enough for me. I did know about the platform 5 book but just couldn't get hold of it, it wasn't at the University's library and wikipedia didnt help either. So thankyou all once again. I wish I could acknowledge all of you in my dissertation.

Geoff - if you need to have a very close look at a Mk 3 coach, there is a Mk 3 sleeper coach at the Great Central Railway depot in Loughborough. It is used purely as 'dormitory' accommodation for volunteers.
