hi

hi syd i dont quite get that but its good you have a sense of humour my favourite trains are high-speed ones, the type that goes from Penzance to London Paddington (usually run by First Great Western.) would you happen to know what class those are?

If you read it slowly and think about it, it does make sense.
I think you mean the HST125 trains. There are still quite a few of them on the Penzance to London Paddington route.

thanks syd, i love those trains. i was on one yesterday. i went from Exeter St Davids to Plymouth. unfortunately all seats were reserved so i had to stand, but apart from that i thoroughly enjoyed myself! i am only 21 and have seen my fair share of trains.

My favourite station has got to be Cape Town, then Bulawayo. I have a very soft spot for the Garratts of Rhodesia as I learned to both fire and drive on them. Of the British locos, I like the unsung working classes like the 3, 4, and 8F's. the Collette's, G2A's all the tank locos etc.

Bulawayo is the second city of what was Rhodesia now Zimbabwe. It was also the head quarters of the Rhodesia Railways.
Yes I do like traveling on HST125's. Dont get much chance to travel by train now days unlike you. No trains go where I want to go.
