Hi Gordon
I live in Bristol, but I did live in Stirling for a time back in the 70s. As John said "this is as good a place as any"; to find the answers to your questions. Nobody on this forum would think bad of you because you don't know. We just try to help.

I haven't travelled on it but it certainly looks like a great day out. Deltic haulage down the East Coast Mainline. A continental-style Christmas Market in the beautiful city of Lincoln. Plenty of warming Gluhwein ..........what could be better?

Gordon,

Welcome to the forum.

A resource worth downloading each week is Railway Herald which will keep you (nearly) up to speed with current developments.
