Must be class 37 always liked them from first time I saw one at Liverpool St when I was a young man.I managed to drive one and this confirmed why I have liked them all these years.

Class 52's for me too. Grew up watching the last 2 dozen in their last summer, 1976. Pathfinder was my absolute favourite and I was gutted when it was withdrawn. Saw it on an 82 wagon train at Wantage Road!

For me, it has to be the Class 50's in Large Logo livery. I had my first ride behind one in 1983 from Birmingham New Street to Bristol T.M. which got me hooked!! Big, powerful and fast!

Classes 24 to 27 inclusive. Because they are small, loud and full of character. I am treasurer of the 6LDA group and we are trying to get new members to help with the restoration of 26004 at Bo'ness.

Favourite loco classes for me would be class 33 (hence username) - developed a liking for them in the mid 1980s after seeing them perform on cross-London freights. Also have a big soft spot for the Westerns as that is the class I have the fondest memories of from childhood.

I used to like driving class 58s when we had them at Knottingley in the 1990s, they used to ride like a coach and were quieter than the class 56s that were the staple diet at the time.
