Smile Hello all

Hello all, I am new to this forum so please be gentle with me! However I am far from new to the steam fraternity, I have been interested, no ammend that to enthusiast, since my childhood days, I used to look out onto Doncaster station from the Trades club on St Marys bridge. I must have been around 3 years old, where my grandfather used to take me. I am 69 years old now, and just as keen as I was then. Hope to meet many more likeminded folks on here. I have a website KenBirchDigital.com if anyone is interested. The website contains many many steam loco images & a bit of a history of myself too.

Welcome to the forum Ken, Doncaster was a regular turn for me years ago when I was firing in No 3 link at Topshed. Doncaster was also a station I passed through many times as a child visiting relatives in Goole before and after the war.

Well hi there guys, very nice to meet you. I am quite sure we have lots in common. I'm sure we we will find lots to chat about. Incidently for the last 30 years I have lived in Chorley Lancashire. A guess that makes me a defector from the LNER to the LMS
