Hello from JohnNib2

I have recently become interested in model railways since making the decision to build something in the back garden for my grandchildren.
The project started about ten months ago and is progressing slowly. I have the foundations laid for a 5" guage ground level track and have made a start on a Sweet Pea locomotive. I still have to make decisions on the rail and sleepers. If anybody has any interest in my project I would be happy to supply details. If anybody is working on or has completed a similar project I would be interested to learn from their experiences.

Best wishes to all

John Niblett

Welcome to the forum John. I know of one member with a garden railway, although not 5'' gauge, and I'm beginning to have an interest in the subject myself.

Looking forward to hearing of your progress.
