This has been on the cards for quite a while.

Well I hope that everyone keeps their jobs, and that they carry on building units there, buttttt..........myself and alot of other drivers won't mourn the passing of Bombardier Transportation and their Electrosh**e trains.

It is said that even HRH commented on how much worse the 387s were when they took over Fen Line duties from BREL 365s. I don't know what the opposite of "By Royal Approval" is, but those trains got it. "Not fit for the Royal Posterior" perhaps?

Lack of vertical and torsional damping is the reason IMHO. I won't miss those boneshakers

Roll on Alstom.
